TODAYS CONTRADICTIONS OF POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES

All around the world, we see emergence of new ideologies. Democratic Socialism, Maoist Communism, Anarcho-Capitalism etc. These terms sometimes confuse our ideas about way of living and our perspectives of approaching to other thoughts. While we are enduring consequences of these ideas, our minds are forced to think which idea is ideal for creature like us.

 

We can discuss communism is a best option whether or not. You say communism brings us free healthcare and equality of citizens. My respond can be, “don’t you remember what happened during Stalin’s reign of Soviet Union?”. I can give examples what happened , such as “Holodomor”, “Gulags” and assassinations of oppositions for political stability. You might say, “ It’s much more important than life of few people. It’s about world revolution!”. So we can discuss this topic in every point of our lives.

 

But, there is an important point that we are missing after every discussions about that topic. It’s a kind of occupation for our lives. Have you ever thought that what can happen if we were living an utopian world which no need to think anymore for anything? See that, it’s so meaningless for me and I think you are thinking right now as i think. Furthermore, we won’t be able to reach utopian world because ones utopian can means to other as a hell and dystopia, so I don’t think these discussions will end.

 

Despite all of these words, we have common value, that is democracy and democracy contributes and enables us to share our thoughts freely and independently. If we reach to success to protect democracy from non-democratic actions, world will be better place as time goes by.
